The Future Digital Agency

I’ve been thinking a lot about what a future agency would look like in the digital space. You’ve the Organic and Critical Mass‘ who have a strong skill set on the current bread and butter of digital advertising. You’ve Headshift & Dachis Group who are looking to pioneer a new space called social business design. Social business design is social media on steroids in the best possible way.

Is the future about each agency specializing in one area or being an expert in a few areas like social media, mobile, gaming and interactive video. Of course you’ll still have some old school items like search and web design. No matter what campaign you’re doing. You’ll need to send people to a website of some sorts. I’m not sure what the answer is. However, I’m going to be thinking about this more as I make sure my skill set keeps up with our industry and that my future looks even brighter.
