Personalization: Know Who You Are Talking Too

I got a weird call from an insurance company today. However, the lady on the other end called me Greg. I told her my name was not Geg and it was Duane. I lost interest the minute she got my name wrong. Lets forget that she started the call by being unsure of what to say. If you are going to call someone, at the very least get their first name right. Poeple today don’t want to be a number or called by the wrong name. Social media and very much the future of the Internet is going to be very strong in personalizing to each unique person you want to connect with.
