Google AdWords on Facebook: Guitar Hero Tracker
Guitar Hero Tracker is the first developer to add Google Adwords to their application that I know of. There could be others out there, but with over 2000 applications it’s hard to try them all out. The application could use some more work as I uninstaller it as soon as I installed. The developers should have taken more time to work on the application before launching it. However, placing the ad on the back end of the application where users usually only go to edit their setting is unique. You figured they would place it somewhere on the front end where they are bound to get more impressions from users if they built a really sweet application. I’ll check in and see how this application is doing in a few weeks as we all head back to the classroom.
