Publicity Stunt for Aqua Teen Hunger Force Shuts Down Boston

Cartoon NetworkA publicity stunt gone wrong shut down part of Boston as people thought the LED lights were some sign of a terrorist threat. The devices were used as a way to promote Aqua Teen Hunger Force, which is a part of Adult Swim on the Cartoon Network. This goes to prove, know your audience and know them well… or you might end up in jail.

[Update] The New York Times has an update to yesterdays story, with one question in mind. What if this stunt didn’t fail at all, look at all the press it’s getting.
